Green Festival® is a multi-day, high-energy party that taps into the vitality of the booming new green economy. Co-sponsored by Global Exchange and Green America, the event brings together leading thinkers of the green movement, hundreds of green businesses, and thousands of attendees who together demonstrate that not only is another world possible, another world is happening.
After over a decade, the Green Festival continues to provide a forum for different constituencies of the green economy movement to connect. Hundreds of businesses exhibit products from electric cars and solar panels to fair trade coffee and sweatshop-free clothing; experts speak on topics ranging from green investment and local economies to the food revolution and the power of art and activism; and attendees participate in workshops on diverse subjects from composting and permaculture to biodiesel basics and breaking the oil addiction.
