Green America: Growing the Green Economy for People and the Planet

Weisenbach Recycled Products
Columbus, OH

Weisenbach Recycled Productsis a family-owned small business and creative force in the manufacture and distribution of products made from recycled materials. Innovation is a hallmark of our company, and we value our position as the go-to source for organizations that want to make a difference in sustainability.  We feature products and tools for awareness campaigns involving litter prevention, beautification, recycling, and pollution prevention. Upcycling glass, plastic, tire rubber, paper, circuit boards, and more, we provide customers with effective programs to establish and enhance their brand and to further their green initiatives.

Not accepting that a material "Can't be Recycled" we create new products out of materials that would otherwise end up in the waste stream.  This defining principal of Waste As Raw Material, or cWARM Manufacturing, has been a driving force in our business. We recycle plastic bottle caps into our patented line of FitFill® Funnels and Spouts for pollution prevention (learn more at www.FitFill.com). Foam cups become recycled plastic stick pens. Circuit boards and pallet wood are turned into certificate frames. Glass bottles are recycled into beautifully hand-crafted ReAward® trophies and recognition gifts. Tire rubber is given a new life as coasters, jar openers, key tags, and mouse pads.

danWe embrace the challenges of turning waste into commercially viable and useful goods and offering items for education and outreach. Diverting waste from the landfill, engaging consumers, reducing litter in the environment, and preventing pollution with affordable, accessible products are measurable and attainable goals that inspire us as a company, and as individuals. We are constantly working on new ideas and projects to expand our selection of made in USA recycled and useful items and explore new opportunities to better the world we share.

For Weisenbach, being green extends beyond the business. It is a passion and way of life. Employees participate in litter cleanups, community gardening, local Earth Day events, and more. Owner and founder, Dan Weisenbach, serves as president for Keep Ohio Beautiful and is an active volunteer and supporter of countless organizations.
