Community Reinvestment Fund, USA Celebrates 25th Anniversary

Community Reinvestment Fund, USA (CRF), a national nonprofit, is celebrating twenty-five years of supporting small businesses, improving the lives of disadvantaged people and strengthening distressed communities through innovative finance.

CRF helps change the lives of people living in economically disadvantaged communities. CRF provides capital to communities through its network of lending partners, investors, and contributors to create jobs and turn struggling neighborhoods into flourishing communities.

Through CRF loans, small business owners expand operations and create jobs. Non-profits build community facilities and charter schools to provide essential services and quality education. Cities add safe, affordable housing.

Many would-be achievers, entrepreneurs, and business leaders in low-income communities lack opportunity simply because they lack access to financing. CRF levels the playing field by providing capital to small businesses in low-income areas, strengthening businesses that create and retain jobs.
