Procter & Gamble Announces Long-Term Sustainability Goals

Procter & Gamble has unveiled a long-term environmental sustainability vision to guide all sustainability decisions and goal-setting within the organization. The company’s priorities for responsible growth include : powering plants with 100% renewable energy, using 100% renewable or recycled materials for all products and packaging, moving towards zero consumer and manufacturing waste, and designing products for maximum resource conservation (see an example in the photo, with reduced bottle caps from their double-concentrated laundry detergent brands).

P&G will implement a series of 10-year sustainability goals to focus company efforts and incrementally improve P&G's environmental performance, and report against these goals on an annual basis. P&G’s global reach includes 127,000 employees working in about 80 countries.
