The Regenerative Supply Working Group is a cross-industry, collaborative effort to develop and support a food system that is focused on rebuilding soil health as a way to address the needs of our climate and our rural communities to deliver nutritionally beneficial food for us all.
Participants in our work include the full spectrum of those engaged in the supply chain beginning with farmers and farm advocacy and support groups, to seed breeders and dealers, grain traders and brokers, food and ingredient manufacturers; consumer product goods companies; food retailers; service providers to the food and agriculture industries; and public interest and consumer organizations, as well as researchers and universities.
It is this diversity in perspectives and entry point that allows the Working Group to address the complex challenges that we are facing and create solutions that can address them. Participants bring varied points of view to this initiative yet all recognize the need for long-term commitment to finding collaborative solutions to the complex challenges of rebuilding our food system into one that strengthens soil and people. Our work is driven in part by the growing consumer demand for products that contribute to our overall sustainability and a desire to ensure consumer and farmer choice in the marketplace.
