Join us on Thursday, 5/2 at 8pm in the Prince George’s Room in Stamp for a Green New Deal Townhall, hosted by the Sunrise Movement and the Community Learning Garden at UMD!
(RSVP at: https://bit.ly/cpgnd)

The Green New Deal is a bold plan to end climate change by switching the US to 100% renewable energy by 2050, and in the process, create millions of good-paying jobs in communities which need them the most. It is a matter of environmental, economic, social, and racial justice and thus far the only viable solution to climate change.

On May 2, we’ll hear from guest speakers, community leaders, and representatives on how they plan to make this life-changing and life-saving reform a reality. And we’ll hear from you too: bring your questions, let us know how climate change impacts you, and tell your leaders what you’d like the Green New Deal to be! RSVP at: https://bit.ly/cpgnd
